Summary:

Our client is a Data/Digital driven CRO. They connect industry expertise, Life Data Sciences and Digital Enablement to fully leverage Clinical Research ecosystems and real-world evidence in Healthcare, making Clinical Research activities more reliable, innovative and agile.

This position reports to the Chief Business Development Officer. The function of the position is to help grow and develop the business by developing a sales strategy for the entire customer and prospect portfolio, and execute that strategy, for the West Coast USA territory. You will define, propose and implement commercial policy as well as ensure the sales objectives are all met.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures business growth and market development double-digit YoY
  • Ensures appropriate support and training to the Clinical Research Group
  • Forecast predicted quarterly and annual sales figures on the territory.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with accounts and prospect them for new opportunities.
  • Present the company's services & capabilities to prospects effectively.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences to represent the company.
  • Maintain the CRM to update and monitor prospecting activities accurately.
  • When needed, provide support to marketing efforts accordingly to the overall plan.
  • Improves the organization’s market position
  • Schedules appointments, prepares and delivers presentation to the customer, having researched their business and requirements

Required skills and qualities:

  • Prior success in a B2B sales role, selling complex services within the Life Sciences sector.
  • At least 3 years' sales experience in Clinical Research.
  • Experience selling particular clinical trial services is of high interest.
  • Track record of proven Business Development skills and prospecting techniques/methods.
  • Ability to work closely with clients and close deals.
  • Self-driven; organized; tenacious, and autonomous.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Able to travel internationally and nationally as required.
  • University Degree in either Business or Science.
  • Fluent in English.
